Las Vegas Raiders

The last time we looked, the Las Vegas Raiders had about $41.6 million in cap space. Might they look at Simmons to pair him with safety Tre'von Moehrig?

Simmons didn't beat the Raiders often as a member of the Broncos. He and Denver lost 11 of 15 meetings with him on the field.

You can't blame Simmons for that though. He collected 57 tackles, three interceptions, and six pass breakups during those meetings. Maybe the Raiders are thinking of keeping him in the AFC West. You never know. Cornerback is a more pressing need for the Silver and Black, but Simmons is too good of a player to ignore.

Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins aren’t in the best position in terms of salary cap space. Safeties Deshon Elliott and Brandon Jones are impending free agents. Decisions need to be made about everyone from Andrew Van Ginkel and Emmanuel Ogbah to Christian Wilkins, Eli Apple, and Connor Williams.

Yeah, pulling off an acquisition for Justin Simmons will be difficult, but it isn't impossible, Here's what we know. Miami must get better on defense.

Injuries helped write their story last year, but there's a new defensive coordinator on their staff, Anthony Weaver. The Fins have a solid piece in their secondary, the great Jalen Ramsey, but one great defensive back won't constitute a great secondary.

Worth mentioning: Los Angeles Rams

Jordan Fuller and John Johnson III are both free agents. They potentially leave a defense that snagged a mere ten interceptions last season.

L.A. hasn't had a true playmaker at the backend of their defense since Taylor Rapp left. Simmons' addition could help them in curing that.
