Reed Blankenship, safety

From rookie free-agent signing to NFL starter, Reed Blankenship has the potential to be a great player for a long time. During last year's preseason, when the pads came on, he truly showed us all what he can do. When his time came, he was ready.

Reed is the only man walking that can state he picked off Aaron Rodgers as a former undrafted prospect. This time around, he has taken more snaps with the first team than any other Eagles safety. He has earned it. He has a lot to be proud of.

K'Von Wallace, safety

Who will start opposite Reed at the other safety position? Will it be Terrell Edmunds? Might we see rookie Sydney Brown climb the ladder? How about someone we haven't discussed as often, Justin Evans for instance? While you are mulling all of that over, here's another possibility. How about K'Von Wallace?

Taken 127th overall during Round 4 of the 2020 NFL Draft, K'Von has had to wait his turn while watching the team that drafted him sign other guys to place ahead of him on the depth chart. This summer he has taken a lot of first-team reps.

Has patience paid off or will it be more of the same from the young man in the Number 42 jersey? Something tells us good things are coming.
