AJ Brown clarifies when he expects to return from injury

A.J. Brown and Mike Garafolo may not be doctors, but seemingly they both play one on television.

We witnessed a phenomenal opening game by the Philadelphia Eagles versus the Green Bay Packers in Brazil. The offense looked slightly sharper than their defensive teammates. They carried the Birds to victory.

Still, Kellen Moore's unit may have spoiled us to some degree, but wouldn't you know it? Adversity has come to test us. One of their biggest stars sat out in Week 2.

A.J. Brown's hamstring forced him to see limited participation in practice before he was deemed questionable and ultimately ruled out of Monday Night Football. That opened the door for some youngsters to step up.

Jahan Dotson, Britain Covey, and Johnny Wilson all saw early snaps versus the Atlanta Falcons. Still, it would be DeVonta Smith who hauled in the first receiving TD.

No surprise there, right?

AJ Brown offers his expected timetable for return, one that exceeds the expectations of an NFL insider.

Though the Eagles have enough offensive weapons to be effective without A.J. Brown, no one believes Philly's offense is better without him. How long will he be out? It appears we have varying reports. One of the NFL's trusted insiders and A.J. Brown have offered different timetables for his return.

Well, none of these guys are doctors. They just play them on TV we suppose. Here's how things look from our vantage point. Let's hope Garafolo's timetable is more accurate than the one A.J. set for himself.

Philly is good enough to tread water without its best receiver, but this offense is obviously scarier if it's operating at full strength.

Bookmark this one for a couple of days. We'll let you know if any updates are offered. Though we don't expect to hear any before this game ends.
