Javon Hargrave, Defensive Tackle, San Francisco 49ers

Like Gardner-Johnson, former Eagles defensive tackle Javon Hargrave is having a great start to his 2023 campaign.

Signed to the 49ers this offseason with a four-year, $84 million deal, Hargrave has been a dominant pass rusher on the interior. In 128 pass-rush snaps, the defensive tackle has three sacks, two quarterback hits, and 12 hurries. He also has three tackles and four assists.

Compared to his seasons in Philadelphia, Hargrave is playing just as good, if not better. According to PFF's numbers, his overall defensive grade is currently the best of his career at 88.5. This is due to a run defense grade of 57.0, which is his best since 2019, and a pass rush grade of 91.0.

Hargrave, through his great play, has helped the 49ers have the best team pass-rush grade in the NFL at 90.6. If he continues to produce at that level, the Eagles will continue to miss his presence on their defensive line.
