It's raining, and it's pouring. Nobody is snoring in the Pacific Northwest though. The Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks are actually providing an intriguing affair at Lumen Field.

At the time of this story's release, one half of football is in the books. The good guys lead on the scoreboard by a 10-3 margin. It hasn't been perfect, but Philly has a lot to be happy about.

The Eagles offense looks better than it did versus the Dallas Cowboys. Its defense looks better than it has in two weeks. Then again, it's hard to play any worse than we've seen.

We've seen a couple of firsts. Matt Patricia has completed his first half as the Eagles' defensive play-caller. Keelee Ringo made his first start at cornerback in Darius Slay's absence. The guy wearing the Number 0 jersey is having a good night too.

Eagles running back D'Andre Swift sets a new career high in scrimmage yards during Philly's Monday night clash with the Seahawks.

The headline says it all. We've had our eyes glued to D'Andre Swift all season. We've cheered him on during big games. We've asked where he was when ignored in the offensive attack. Some have questioned whether the plan is to avoid overworking him.

He's set a new personal standard though. He racked up 36 yards rushing and six receiving yards in the first half on Monday Night Football, and with that, he sets a new career high in scrimmage yards.

He has eclipsed the 1,069-yard total he produced for the Detroit Lions in 2021. Hats off to him. Congratulations on the accomplishment. Three games remain after Week 15. He's having a great season.
