Greedy Williams, cornerback

Greedy Williams was added to the Eagles' roster during the most recent free agency frenzy on March 18th, but that came three days after the announcement of James Bradberry's extension and two days after the Birds agreed with Darius Slay on a two-year deal that would also keep him in the fold. At best, that meant Greedy Williams could be the fourth cornerback on a unit that carries six men at the position into the regular season. Keep in mind the fact that Avonte Maddox is the starting slot corner.

That's only half of the story. Get a load of this.

Philly also carries Tristin McCollum, Josiah Scott, Kelee Ringo, Zech McPhearson, Josh Jobe, and Mario Goodrich. Post-draft, they added two rookie free agents, Eli Ricks and Mekhi Garner. All of that has been said to say this.

Simple math tells us that there's no guarantee that Greedy makes the team. Don't be shocked if he makes the squad. Don't be shocked if he doesn't.

Ty Zentner, punter

Ty Zentner was brought in to put a little pressure on Arryn Siposs. Then, the rookie got baked by the veteran in competition during OTAs. Arryn may lose his job, but it may not be to the UDFA. There's still time, but the score is currently one-love in favor of the Australian. Now it appears that there's no guarantee that Zentner will survive the preseason.
