Well, we've done all that we can to be nosey, but it appears our efforts, as expected, are leading to dead ends. It's almost like seeing elevator doors open to expose brick walls. We didn't expect them to, but the Philadelphia Eagles aren't being very expressive about this new offense and what it will look like under Kellen Moore.

The Philly media tried to pick Nick Sirianni's brain during the first training camp presser... Nothing. But, he's the head coach, and he's always been that way. Following practice, Jalen Hurts was willing to talk and was more expressive than normal, but he didn't offer much either. Hey, A.J. Brown is always smiling and expressive. Maybe he'll bite... Nope...

He was asked three times, and he didn't tell us a lot either.

Here's what we know. You can't take much from training camp exercises 11-on-11, and 7-on-7 drills. But, we saw and heard of a little motion, so we're well beyond pumped. Something tells us DeVonta Smith will be a huge part pf Philly's offense again this season. Call it a hunch. Recently, he hung out with one of our favorite radio stations to discuss,

DeVonta Smith has been studying a little of what CeeDee Lamb did while working with new Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

As training camp rolls on, the usual suspects from the Philly media are everywhere. You can try and consolidate things by following all of them on social media, but in all honesty, the info has come so fast and so furious that there is really no point.

Occasionally, we stumble across some good stuff. 94 WIP-FM spent some time with DeVonta Smith during The Morning Show before the second training camp practice. Apparently, while getting ready for his first season working with new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, DeVonta has been studying what Moore did while in Dallas teaming with CeeDee Lamb.

"Every year you learn different things. You start studying more people and things like that. I've been watching a lot of CeeDee (Lamb). Definitely being in this offense, the things that Kellen has done with him... So (I've been) watching him, seeing how they used him."

He continued...

"It's always going to be different when you have a new OC. Everybody runs the same things, but it's different terminology...You just have to get up to speed with how he calls things."

Everyone is excited. Everyone is charged up about what they're seeing. The information (and social media posts) have flowed so freely that it's enough to make your head spin. This sure beats that dead news spin we were in a few weeks ago, but you can also get lost in this stuff.

One minute, we're seeing five-second clips of Jalen Hurts handing the ball off to Saquon Barkley. That is often followed by seven-second clips of Jalen throwing a pass to Saquon Barkley. We won't know what this offense will look like until it's time to roll in Brazil.

DeVonta is all smiles, so that's good enough for us. We're smiling too.
