Eli Ricks, cornerback

Every year, we feast our eyes on a couple of undrafted rookie free agents that we know are good enough to be on someone's NFL roster. Eli Ricks is one of the names that Birds fans have circled this time around.

A six-foot-two, 196-pound specimen that cut his teeth at Alabama with the Crimson Tide last season, this young man earned Second-Team All-SEC honors in 2020 (he was with the LSU Tigers then). Still, it's hard to imagine he'll catapult himself to one of the top six players on Philly's depth chart at corner.

Tristin McCollum, defensive back

It feels like Tristin McCollum, if he makes the team, is going to have to do so at the safety position. Here's his issue.

Terrell Edmunds, Reed Blankenship, and Sydney Brown are going to make this team's roster, and McCollum also has Justin Evans and K'Von Wallace ahead of him on a depth chart that will probably only carry five players at the safety position.
