The first couple of waves of free agency are done. The NFL Draft approaches, and to a man or woman, most of us feel better about the Philadelphia Eagles than we did after watching them go belly up to end the season and during the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs. It's okay! We've been here before. We will endure.

We've seen Bryce Paup take out Randall Cunningham's knee, Fog Bowls, and three straight NFC Championship Game appearances (and, each of those title game losses were worst than the last). Trust us on this. Philly will saunter on.

We made it through a 3-13 affair in 1998, a 4-12 run in 2012, and that 4-11-1 debacle in 2020 that turned out to be Doug Pederson's swan song. Each time, we felt defeat. Each time, we picked ourselves up like Rocky Balboa.

Cue the bounce back. That's our point here. The road back to the postseason starts now. We've been made aware of some coming dates worth noting.

Jot these Eagles offseason workout dates down. You'll want to remember these as we move through the coming months.

It's been a great day. On the same date, the Philadelphia Phillies took the field for their opening day game versus the hated Atlanta Braves, the NFL announced its nine-week off-season workout schedule for all 32 teams.

There are three phases, including one mandatory minicamp for the entire roster and one rookie minicamp for each group. Here's what that looks like for the Eagles.

Phase One

The first phase is two weeks. Team activities are limited to meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehabilitation.

Phase Two

The second phase spans three weeks. On-field workouts are allowed. So is individual and/or group instruction.

Phase Three

The third phase spans four weeks. Ten days of organized team practice activities (OTAs) are permitted.

One thing to keep in mind is this. No live contact is permitted during organized team activities, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are allowed. Their schedule is as follows.

First day to report:

The Philadelphia Eagles go back to work on April 15.

OTA Offseason Workouts Schedule

The first day of organized team activities is May 20. They take a day off before resuming work from May 22nd to May 23. They're off five days before a session on May 28. They conclude with two days of work on May 30th and May 31st.

Mandatory Minicamp:

Mandatory Minicamp comes in June. In Philly, they're scheduled from June 4th through June 6th.
