Eagles 53-man roster and 16-man practice squad projection following preseason finale

Here are a few guesses on what the Eagles' 53-man roster might look like. Don't be shocked if the names change a few times between now and final roster cuts.

Offensive linemen (9)

Jason Kelce, Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Lane Johnson, Tyler Steen, Sua Opeta, Jack Driscoll, Fred Johnson

We've enjoyed Fred Johnson's evolution, and his recent two-year deal makes us feel like his surprise addition to the initial 53-man roster will no longer be a surprise. He now occupies the roster spot that was one last season by undrafted rookie free agent Josh Sills. The latter arrived at camp late and wasn't that impressive when he showed up.

Defensive line (10)

Fletcher Cox, Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Milton Williams, Brandon Graham, Josh Sweat, Derek Barnett, Moro Ojomo, Marlon Tuipulotu, Patrick Johnson

The top of the depth chart is obvious. The back half is less than so so with a few exceptions. We love Moro Ojomo and will keep him around. Marlon Tuipulotu and Patrick Johnson fill out the final two spots. We may change our minds about that tomorrow though.

Linebackers (5)

Nakobe Dean, Zach Cunningham, Haason Reddick, Nolan Smith, Christian Elliss

Zach Cunningham didn't dress for the preseason finale, which typically indicates a roster spot. Christian Elliss fills out a linebacker corps that, despite our occasional complaints, looks pretty impressive now.
