Now, this is more like it. We're starting to see some familiar faces now. As the first half of the Top 100 NFL Players of 2023 were unveiled, two Philadelphia Eagles were named... That's right two... This after the Birds fielded one of the best rosters in franchise history and sent eight of their players to the Pro Bowl. And, here's the thing, if we're being honest, they probably should have wound up with about nine or ten guys on pro football's all-star team.
We know. We're just as surprised as you are.

Sorry... We digress... What were we talking about again? Oh, that's right. The NFL's Top 100 Players of 2023 ranking. A.J. Brown unsurprisingly lands on the list. This time, we're pretty satisfied with where he is.

Okay, forget what we said earlier about two guys being mentioned in the back half of the top 100 players countdown. Now that we think about it, if we're being honest, DeVonta Smith (100) and Darius Slay (65) were ranked too low. We asked for a run on Birds as the ranking transitioned from players 100 through 50 and began featuring the guys who occupied the top 49 spots. Guess what? That's exactly what we have been enjoying.

As the curtain was pulled back to showcase the top half of the ranking, three of our guys landed between the 37th and 48th spots. Now, as we are introduced to the top 25, Swole Batman has helped keep the party going.

Sure, we can complain that it took too long for our guys to begin showing up. Again, the Eagles saw eight of their players make the Pro Bowl. Six Birds were named as All-Pros, so with that being said, we'd like to retract our earlier statement.

The Eagles are home to one of the best rosters in all of Pro Football. We have yet to see QB1, Jalen Hurts among others. Had some of these guys landed in lower spots than we would have deemed acceptable, we may have claimed foul play.
