What a night! Though it seems like we have waited on the 2024 NFL Draft for six months, it truly hasn't been that long at all. The Philadelphia Eagles' final game of the 2023-2024 season was a clunker. The final wheel of a broken-down automobile finally fell off its axle to the tune of a 32-9 thrashing at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round. That was only a tad over three months though. Hope has come in the form of some free-agent signings and the selection of
in Round 1.

With that, we turn the page to Friday. The draft shifts its attention to another tier of prospects and two more rounds of selections. Birds fans won't be bored. Philly has two selections. Both come in Round 2.

The Philadelphia Eagles own two second-round picks on Day2 of the 2024 NFL Draft, the 50th and 53rd.

The Philadelphia Eagles own two more of the selection meeting's top 53 picks. They select 50th as they're still eating off the Carson Wentz trade. They also select 53rd, the same spot where they landed Jalen Hurts three years ago, Miles Sanders in 2019, and LeSean Mccoy in 2009.

So as you can see, though the hope is to find Pro Bowl talent in Round 1, franchise players can also be found in Round 2. Keep in mind the fact that DeSean Jackson and Brian Dawkins were all second-round draftees.
