Eagles draft: Early-round 2024 NCAA prospects Philly should eye at every position
The Eagles enjoyed a bye in Week 10. We watched a lot of college football.
They say Philadelphia Eagles Vice President/General Manager Howie Roseman always works the phones. We don't always discuss the scouting department, particularly the guys who spend their time monitoring the college football landscape. They get the gold star too though. They always have one eye on the next crop of NFL stars.
With Philly on their bye in Week 10, we watched a ton of college football. No, truthfully, we started before that. We're football junkies and have watched all season.
Though it may seem like its too early to discuss draft strategy and tomorrow's NFL stars, it isn't. Conversations about potential Eagles are occurring. Here are some prospects at every position they should already be eyeing.
1. Quarterback - Michael Penix Jr.
Though Philly seems to be satisfied with the current progression of Tanner McKee, the Quarterback Factory's wheels never stop churning. Feast your eyes on Michael Penix Jr.
J.J. McCarthy, Shedeur Sanders, Drake Maye, and Caleb Williams will all be valued higher, but this young man has what it takes to excel. Projected round: 1st
2. Running back - Audric Estime
If we were to make guesses on who the to-ranked tailbacks in the 2024 class are we'd say TreVeyon Henderson (Ohio State) and Blake Corum (Michigan) are the top two prospects, but this is the sledgehammer Philly has been missing.
The only question is will they spend early draft capital to land him? We say bet on an offensive lineman or an edge rusher. Projected round: 2nd/3rd
