Watch Eagles fan throw bucket of popcorn at Nick Sirianni right after loss to Bucs
Come on, there's just no room for this. If you were watching the Philadelphia Eagles Wild Card Round game against Tampa Bay on Monday night, you were no question ticked off. Nothing went right for Philly on both sides of the ball. The team came out flat, plain and simple.
The 32-9 defeat was shocking and Eagles fans in the stands in Tampa Bay were letting the entire team have it as they walked off the field. However, someone took things way too far in his showing of disrespect for Nick Sirianni. The Philly supporter tossed a full bucket of popcorn at the Eagles head coach. Yeah, there's absolutely no reason to do this:
Eagles fans were calling for Nick Sirianni's job in Tampa Bay after Monday's loss
It's one thing if you're a die-hard fan, but acting this way after a loss is inexcusable. This random fella was donning a Haason Reddick jersey and was hoping to see the NFC East side post a memorable victory over Baker Mayfield and Co.
Instead, the Eagles were flat-out dominated and their Super Bowl dreams have come to an end in the blink of an eye. Yes, be angry and frustrated - that's normal after your favorite team lays an egg and is eliminated from the playoffs.
With that said, throwing a bucket of food at your head coach crosses a line that no one ever should. While he tried to leave in peace and didn't cause a scene, security was quick to not only spot him, but make sure they caught up to him before he was out of sight too.
Something tells us a ban from Raymond James Stadium could be on the way. Not only that, but the Eagles would be wise to get this man's information too. You think Jeffrey Lurie wants him at Lincoln Financial Field for future home games? Not a chance.
