Eagles inactives list, injury tracker for Week 4 game versus Commanders
At long last, we have arrived! Who knows why this week felt so long when the Philadelphia Eagles just played a game on Monday Night Football, but it is what it is. The most important thing to know is this. The Birds are playing the hated Washington Commanders at 1:00 p.m. EST, and even though it's early, this game has some added significance for a couple of reasons.
Last year, the Commanders walked into Lincoln Financial Field and ended Philly's undefeated start to the 2022-2023 regular season. Believe it or not, despite Philly's 3-0 start during the current campaign and Washington's ugly loss last Sunday, a win by the Commanders today would give them an early seat at the head of the NFC East's table AND a tie-breaker over the Birds.
That being said, this one feels like a must-win game even though a loss wouldn't be tragic.
The Philadelphia Eagles release their Week 4 inactives list ahead of their clash with the Washington Commanders.
The Eagles have already announced that Quez Watkins and Sydney Brown will sit this one out. Defensive back Tristin McCollum and punter Braden Mann have been elevated from the practice squad for today's precedings.
Might that mean Justin Evans, who was listed as questionable on Friday, will sit this one out? We didn't have to wait long to learn our answer as the Birds and Commanders dropped their inactives reports 90 minutes before kickoff.
The Commanders released their inactives report as well.
Again, kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. EST. This one should be a lot of fun.
