Eagles star Lane Johnson shares a favorite story about fellow franchise legend Jason Kelce
It's official. Lane Johnson has to be an alien. No seriously, we all joke around a lot, but Number 65 in the Philadelphia Eagles' midnight green is from another planet.
His early years as a pro were marred by a couple of suspensions. That second one was questionable (he contended an app that league offices provided, at one point, stated that a substance he was using was allowable). That's another story for another day, but as Jason Kelce stated during his victory parade speech, Lane proved he could "lay off the juice", and 65 has proven to be among the game's best since dedicating himself completely.
Further proof of his extra-terrestrial ability was on display last season. Dealing with a torn abductor in his abdomen, he seemingly didn't lose a step.
Injured versus the Dallas Cowboys on Christmas Eve, Johnson missed the final two games of the regular season. He determined he would delay surgery and give it all that he had during the playoffs. He played in all three of the Eagles postseason games, at one point, tearing the shredded tendon completely. By Lane's account, it was apparently hanging on a by a strand before then. He also said it reportedly "felt better" after finally ripping.
If you have been keeping up, you know the story well. Lane Johnson was excellent during the postseason. Surgery came after. On May 18th, he announced on social media that he was cleared to play football again and was 100% healthy. Recently we have seen him flex his media muscle.
Lane Johnson shares one of his favorite stories about Jason Kelce during a recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show.
Twitter may be a little bit of a madhouse now. These days, you probably don't want to follow the guys with the blue checkmarks. That's another story for another day, but come rain or shine, you need to keep your eyes on what Lane Johnson is doing.
He offers positivity on his social media accounts, particularly to those who suffer from mental health disorders. As we near the end of May, Lane Johnson is making his way around some of the popular sports platforms. Recently, He hung out with Kay Adams on her Up & Adams brand. He also stopped by The Rich Eisen Show.
This was fun. Lane shared one of his favorite stories about a fellow Eagles legend, future co-Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Jason Kelce. Yes... We're placing both Lane and Jason in Canton (along with Jason Peters. Book it!
