And, we're back! Officially now... The Philadelphia Eagles have a game to play on Friday. We've known about the trip to Brazil since the NFL released its 2024-25 schedule, but all of a sudden, everything takes on newer meaning.

This game is weeks away anymore. Less than seven days separate us, and Philly began serious preparations on Sunday.

The day began with a conversation between head coach Nick Sirianni and the Philly media. The Birds announced two additions to the practice squad, giving them three in the past three days. Four familiar faces also returned to practice.

Eagles news: Catching up on Philadelphia's new practice squad additions.

Philadelphia announced that they were signing wide receiver Griffin Hebert and tight end Kevin Foelsch to the practice squad. This came two days after their announcement they had signed defensive back JT Woods.

We know Hebert pretty well. He was originally signed to the PS on December 28, 2023, He was waived on April 30th of 2024. He was re-signed on July 25th but waived again on August 27.

Foelsch was a late addition to camp, one signed off waivers from the New York Jets on August 3rd. He was also released on August 27. The new guy, Woods, is a six-foot-two, 193-pounder and a former third-round pick of the Los Angeles Chargers. He has appeared in 13 games with one start, resulting in eight tackles.

More Eagles news: Four Eagles who missed practice last week all returned to action on Sunday.

It's always good to see reinforcements arrive. Four familiar faces returned to practice on Sunday after sitting out last week. Tight end Dallas Goedert, cornerback Isaiah Rodgers, wide receiver Johnny Wilson, and offensive lineman Trevor Keegan are all back.

That's good news. Philly will need all hands on deck to beat a worthy Green Bay Packers opponent come this Friday
