The Eagles are better at defensive tackle and EDGE, and they might be better at linebacker.

Who do the Cowboys have on their roster that can stop the run again? Okay, we'll admit that picking up Mazi Smith was a nice move. They may have drafted him earlier than they needed to, but it was a good move. Here's a question we'll throw out for fodder though. Give this some thought.

Is Mazi Smith better than Fletcher Cox, Jordan Davis, or Jalen Carter? If we're being honest, the top two interior defensive linemen on the Cowboys roster, Smith and Osa Odighizuwa might be, at best, the fourth defensive tackle on Philly's depth chart at the same position if they were somehow transplanted onto this Eagles team.

Philly is better at the EDGE with Brandon Graham, Josh Sweat, Haason Reddick, and Nolan Smith than the Cowboys are with Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence, and anyone Dallas can roll out on their roster. We could argue that Dallas is better at linebacker. Then again....

While Damone Clark will be a problem for years to come (mark our words), Leighton Vander Esch and Jabril Cox don't scare teams as much as you would think. Both teams have question marks at the second level. We don't know what DeMarvion Overshown will become. We'll see about Nakobe Dean and Nicholas Morrow and how Sean Desai deploys his unit.
