It has been an interesting few days for Lane Johnson. There were no discussions about any injuries last week that we remember. He was a full participant at Philadelphia Eagles practice as the days and hours passed and the game versus the Buffalo Bills neared. Then, he woke up Sunday morning, and from what we were told, there was some groin soreness and some inflammation. Just like that, his gameday status was downgraded to questionable.

He got some pre-game snaps. Philly's medical staff and Howie Roseman were watching. A decision was made. Jack Driscoll would be the starter at right tackle for the Eagles vs. Buffalo Bills game.

Questions were asked immediately, as you'd expect them to be. How serious is Lane's injury? Will this also keep him out of Week 12's game versus the San Francisco 49ers? Maybe it will . Maybe it won't. There's just one thing, and it's a safe bet that we have all thought about this. Lane is one tough son of a gun.

Eagles news: Ian Rapoport says we shouldn't rule out Lane Johnson for Week 13

Welcome to San Francisco 49ers week! The Birds play host to the Niners. They have these guys, Chase Young and Nick Bosa. Fans are hoping the latter doesn't line up for a ton of snaps versus Jack Driscoll.

Ian Rapoport is saying there's a chance that we see Lane in Week 13 as he's considered 'day-to-day' following an MRI he took part in on Sunday.

Fingers are crossed that we see Number 65 in the lineup but only under one condition. This can't result in him missing more time because he's injured further.

More Eagles news: Might Dallas Goedert return for Week 12's game?

From Lane Johnson to Dallas Goedert. Guess what? Players want to play. According to NFL Network's James Palmer, Dallas Goedert is making his push to return to action for Week 13's game versus the San Francisco 49ers.

While we get it, these guys are gladiators and they want to play, Goedert's return comes down to the decision of a medical staff. It won't come down to a decision that he makes on his own.

Goedert suffered a forearm fracture in Week 9 versus the Dallas Cowboys. He has since missed two games versus the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. We'll see what happens this Sunday, but as of now, there's been no official announcement that he'll play.
