Here are a half-dozen offensive coordinator options as Eagles move on from Brian Johnson.

We may be clutching at straws here, but here are some possible replacement options.

Here are six guys Philly will find interesting (and four wild card options). Let's see if your lists look like ours.

1. Frank Reich, former Eagles OC, former Colts/Panthers HC

Here's the popular pick. Frank Reich's resume is well known to Eagles fans, especially the section that reads 'Super Bowl-winning offensive coordinator'. He certainly makes this list.

2. Darrell Bevell | Dolphins QBs coach/passing game coordinator

Have you seen that highlight-reel show that's been going on down in South Beach? Darrell Bevell has helped Mike McDaniel lead the Miami Dolphins to the NFL's second-best scoring offense.

He has worked with everyone from Brett Favre and Russell Wilson to Matthew Stafford and Tua Tagovailoa. He was the OC for the Super Bowl-winning Seattle Seahawks team.

3. Chad O’Shea | Browns passing-game coordinator/WRs coach

Chad O'Shea is a Bill Belichick disciple having run with the G.O.A.T. from 2009 until 2018. In Cleveland, the Browns lost Deshaun Watson, and O'Shea didn't blink, helping Joe Flacco walk the comeback trail at season's end.

4. Shane Waldron, Seahawks OC

The Seahawks showcased a damn-fine looking passing attack in 2023. We'll tell you this. It looked a lot better than the one we saw in Philadelphia.

Credit Shane Waldron for some of what Seattle did. He's from the Sean Mcvay coaching tree. That's another plus.

5. Nick Caley, Rams tight ends coach

Nick Caley has also spent time with the New England Patriots (2015-2022). He interviewed for a then-vacant Patriots OC job last offseason as well as the then-vacant Houston Texans and New York Jets OC chairs.

Spending a season with Mcvay in 2023 is a nice feather in his cap as well.

6. Zac Robinson, Rams QBs coach, passing-game coordinator

Zac Robinson has been the os Angeles Rams’ passing-game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the past two seasons. As is the case with both Waldron and Caley, we like the Sean Mcvay connection.

Maybe, if hired, he can create some steam in what was often a boring Eagles' offensive attack this season.

Let's talk about some possible wild cards.
