Here's something that we've been thinking for a while. We're certain many of you can relate. Every important date on the Philadelphia Eagles' calendar feels like Christmas. The additions of C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Saquon Barkley, Devin White, and Bryce Huff felt like opening gifts under the tree in March. Then Christmas came again... In April... That one brought quite the adrenaline rush.

The most recent NFL Draft class is an exciting one. It's loaded with playmakers on both sides of the ball. Now comes another 'gift'. The announcement of the NFL's 2024 schedule nears. If you've been paying attention, you saw the following drop from pro football on social media.

Philly's ride through the coming campaign will be action-packed, but as usual, it certainly won't be easy. As always, they tackle the NFC East's other members on the road and at home. The Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Giants have all improved this season

The rest of Philly's schedule is comprised of four games versus the NFC South's members (Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and the four members of the AFC North (the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers). There are also games versus the Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Los Angeles Rams.

At the time of this story's release, we don't know the exact date the release will come. Until then, the plan is pretty simple. Our itinerary consists of twiddling our thumbs and chewing on every rumor worth reading. They'll be coming fast and furious until showtime.

Bookmark this one. We'll keep you updated on the most intriguing Eagles schedule rumors once we're made aware of them.

The first piece of news comes from Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio. He told us early that the NFL will announce the regular-season schedule during the week of Monday, May 13th. League offices waited until later on to give us an official announcement.

ESPN's Adam Schefter informed us that sources have told Ben Fischer teams were informed that the official schedule release was expected to occur on Wednesday, May 15th. Finally, we were given an official announcement.

Our advice is to keep it locked. Updates will be mentioned and dropped below this line. Continue to check back for updates. We'll update them here every few hours.

Update: Netflix has live football now?

There's a rumor floating around that the NFL may showcase two Christmas games in 2024 (and do so on Netflix). Check out Puck News' write-up about this one. This one isn't official yet but appears to be a real possibility that will be official relatively soon.

Here are a few other things to keep in mind as well:
