Round 2, Pick 50 (via Saints) - T.J. Tampa, Iowa State

With two picks this close together thanks to a bonus selection gifted to the Birds from the New Orleans Saints, this feels like a nice time to add someone to an aging Eagles cornerback room. Enter T.J. Tampa out of Iowa State.

The former Cyclone racked up 84 tackles, three interception, 16 pass breakups, and a forced fumble during his final 24 games at the collegiate level. He stands at six-foot-two and would pair nicely with Kelee Ringo once Darius Slay and James Bradberry move on.

Round 2 - Pick 53 - Patrick Paul, OT, Houston

Patrick Paul enters the coming NFL Draft with a ton of experience. He's been a starter since his redshirt freshman season (2021) at the University of Houston. He played tackle at the collegiate level, but his six-foot-seven, 333-pound frame makes him a candidate to play the right guard position as a professional.

He possesses some quickness. Think about something for a second if you will. Can you imagine lining this guy up on the right side of the O-line next to Lane Johnson and what he might become under the tutelage of Jeff Stoutland? Yeah, that's what we thought!

Day 3 should be a lot of fun as the Eagles currently own five selections. That includes three compensatory picks.
