The Philadelphia Eagles have added to their nest. Just over three days ahead of their Week 13 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, Elite Loyalty Sports, the agency that represents Cam Sims, has announced that their client is signing with Philly's practice squad.

Sims, a former undrafted rookie signed by the Washington Football Team/Commanders in 2018, spent five years with Philly's rivals before spending portions of the 2023 NFL season with the Las Vegas Raiders and another Eagles rival, the New York Giants.

Here's the update for those of you that may have missed it.

Sims was a member of two College Football Playoff National Championship-winning teams as a member of the Alabama Crimson Tide. As a professional, he has hauled in 57 receptions for 804 yards, and he has reached the end zone three times.

In seven career games versus the Eagles, he has hauled in ten of those 57 receptions resulting in 104 yards. He has also racked up a pair of tackles while playing on special teams. The Eagles, at the time of this stpry's release, haven't made an official announcement yet, but Sims is expected to begin this new chapter on Philly's special teams unit.

All things considered, this is a decent pickup this late in the season. We'll have to wait and see how long he's in town though.
