Tristan Wirfs versus Josh Sweat

While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have talent all over their roster, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better football player than Tristin Wirfs. Pound for pound, he's one of the best in the game today.

Playing the left tackle position, he's the man charged with protecting Baker Mayfield's blindside. That means he's also the man who will, more often than not, earn the duty of blocking Josh Sweat.

Wirfs has been elected to two straight Pro Bowl rosters (2021 and 2022). If Sweat has a big night, he'll most certainly be hitting the cold tub afterward.

Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, and Dallas Goedert versus Tampa's second level

There's some fine-tuning that needs to be done with the Eagles offense. We have discussed that theory ad nauseam, but there's something comforting about knowing, while the tweaks are being made, that Philly has its offensive line intact.

We have discussed Vita Vea's game-wrecking ability and the stress he'll put on the O-line's interior, but don't ignore guys like defensive lineman Logan Hall and Tampa's tremendous linebacker corps.

Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, Devin White, Lavonte David, and Shaquil Barrett pose a problem. The guys on the outside can make life tough for Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson as pass rushers. White and David can run, tackle, and cover. They will be used to neutralize Philly's running game and limit Dallas Goedert.
