The Eagles defense registers four sacks and two turnovers.

Remember when there was talk about the Eagles believing they'd lose Jonathan Gannon as an assistant and the vibes were Philly wanted Vic Fangio to replace him? How did that work out? Where did Fangio wind up again?

Oh that's right! He's the Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator. The Birds landed one of his disciples, current Eagles D.C. Sean Desai.

It's easy to be impressed with what Desai has done. We expect his guys to do some nice things versus Miami as well. This time, the student takes the measure of the teacher.

Sean Desai's unit looks a lot better than Vic Fangio's guys in prime time. Philly's defense stacks four sacks and two turnovers in this one. Expect a returning Jalen Carter and a red-hot Haason Reddick to register QB takedowns in this one.

Jalen Hurts racks up three passing TDs for the first time this season.

Jalen Hurts threw a pair of TD passes in Week 4 versus the Washington Commanders. He hasn't thrown more than one in any of the Eagles other five games this season. Something tells us he'll be lights out in prime time.

He'll be motivated by the bright lights, by having a bad game in Week 6, and by playing AGAINST Tue Tagovailoa for the first time this seasoon. It kind of makes you wonder why we haven't discussed this quarterback matchup more often, doesn't it?
