Eagles versus Jets: 10 Gang Green standouts besides Sauce Gardner who are worth watching

Sauce Gardner is one of the NFL's bright young stars, but he isn't the only guy that the Eagles have to worry about in Week 6.

Let's talk about the guys charged with making life difficult for the Eagles defense.

One paper, it would appear that the Eagles offense would have an advantage over the Jets defense AND Gang Green's offense should be limited by Sean Desai's group. There's just one issue with that theory and others that are similar.

Football isn't played on paper. Here are some of the Jets skill players and a key member of their offensive line.

6. Zach Wilson, quarterback

Well lookey here! The former second-overall selection is back in the spotlight.

Prior to the season, we thought we might be discussing Aaron Rodgers in Week 6, but we all know how that turned out. That means all eyes are on the former BYU star.

On the season, he has completed 61.1% of his passes. He has thrown four TD passes versus five interceptions.

7. Breece Hall, running back

Breece Hall leads the Jets in both carries (54) and yards gained (387). Dalvin Cook will get some totes too. Both are threats to score from anywhere on the field.

8. Garrett Wilson, wide receiver

The skill set that made Garrett Wilson one of the more sought after draft prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft at the wide receiver position has translated to pro football rather seamlessly. Last year's Offensive Rookie of the Year, he has tallied 24 receptions for 279 yards and two TDs this season.

Those numbers are tops for the Jets in each category.

9. Tyler Conklin, tight end

You always have to be wary of tight ends versus the Eagles defense. They can be a problem from time to time. The Jets have a good one.

Tyler Conklin has racked 17 receptions for 203 yards this season, but he has yet to get into the end zone. Let's hope he doesn't get hot versus Philly.

10. Mekhi Becton, left tackle

With Josh Sweat becoming one of the NFL's premier pass rushers, it's always interesting to see who he'll line up against. This time around, it's Mekhi Becton.

He hasn't played a full season yet. He has played 20 games over the past three seasons thanks, in large part, to a fracture in his right kneecap. Still, he has talent.

His battle with Sweaty should be interesting to watch.
