Don't be shocked if there is a slight shakeup at the bottom of the Eagles depth chart.

Summer brings beautiful warm weather, barbecues, and much-needed vacations. It also brings training camp, heat exhaustion, and roster decisions. Can you believe it? Our beloved Philadelphia Eagles approach another NFL season, the 91st in franchise history.

They're stacked on both sides of the ball, but as impressive as the 90-man unit looks on paper, we have all watched enough football to know only 53 men and a 16-man practice squad will endure the 18-week, 17-game grind once we reach the regular season.

We can almost guarantee that we know who the starters are, but there's room for a bit of a shakeup at the bottom of the depth chart. Don't be shocked if an undrafted rookie or two makes the initial 53-man roster. Don't be surprised if some of the veterans are on the outside looking in. As you might imagine, we have identified a few worth mentioning.

Ian Book, quarterback

Philadelphia claimed Ian Book off of waivers on August 31st of 2022, and he remained on the active roster all season despite, more often than not, being a healthy scratch. Do we know that he's better than Tanner McKee? We don't do we? That has us thinking.

With Philly using a the 188th-overall selection during Round 6 to draft him, the QB3 role is open to competition, and again, we aren't sure Book will win it. Place an asterisk beside him name, and do so for the other names on this list as well.
