8-3. 42. Sunday, Dec. 3rd . 54. Eagles +3. 4:25 p.m. EST. FOX. Eagles 49ers matchup Saturday. 10-1

Might this be the true beginning of a budding Eagles vs. 49ers rivalry?

If you didn't know any better, you'd think the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers were age-old rivals. The amount of time the national media has dedicated to covering this one... The rear-end whooping Philly gave the 'Whiners' that many of their stars never got over... The trash talk that followed... The Birds and crybabies aren't truly foes, but they might be before long.

Grudge matches like the one we'll be treated to on Sunday are how these unnatural rivalries begin. Philly and San Fran could be two of the best teams in the National Football Conference for a long time, and that means they could lock horns during the regular and postseason for years to come.

They renew acquaintances on Sunday. Here's how we see this one playing out.

Reasonable requests: Jalen Hurts throws three TD passes and runs for one more.

Jalen Hurts has been on fire since the Eagles entered their toughest stretch of football with a Week 9 home date versus the Dallas Cowboys, for the most part. Philly's QB1 has completed more than 65% of his passes over this recent three-game stretch. He has thrown for 557 yards and five TDs versus two interceptions. He has scored five TDs with his legs.

It hasn't always been perfect, but Hurts has been his best when his best is needed. His best will be needed in Week 13. It's for that reason that we expect such. Dial up a trio of TD passes and another rushing score for Philly in Week 13.
