Bold expectations: Philly's defense forces two turnovers and notches three sacks.

Sean Desai's unit could use a bounceback game after last week's gut-wrenching affair. Buffalo punted four times, but it felt like there were times when they were able to do whatever they wanted.

The 49ers bring a better offense to Lincoln Financial Field than the one Philadelphia most recently faced. A better mix of the Eagles running and passing game should settle the Birds some. The friendly confines of The Linc should make the Niners feel like they're under attack.

Bold expectations: The Eagles stack 450 yards of offense.

The Eagles lost the time of possession battle to the Buffalo Bills by a 40:30-to-26:53 margin. They allowed the Bills to run 92 plays and convert 13 of 22 third-down attempts, yet somehow, they managed to stack 378 yards of offense and score 37 points themselves.

The moral of this story is the Birds can struggle and still stack numbers. We'd rather they not make things hard on themselves though.

With everything on the line and after everything that has happened, we expect Philly's best effort for four quarters. We're also expecting a better effort on defense and fewer than five punts. The box score should reflect the results.
