At the time of this story being published, it's New Year's Eve, and there are still about ten hours separating us from the final countdown to 2024. The Philadelphia Eagles are starting their fireworks show a tad early.

Jalen Hurts is balling. Sydney Brown is putting points on the board. We even enjoyed a Julio Jones sighting.

Jalen Hurts and Julio Jones connect on a beautiful TD toss and reception.

Say what you will about Jalen Hurts. Yeah there are too many turnovers, and some have asked if he has lost his confidence, but when he's on, he's on.

He's wheeling and dealing through the air versus an always-suspect Arizona Cardinals passing defense, but if you took Julio Jones as an 'anytime TD scorer' in this one give yourself a high five.

As a special added bonus, QB1 gets to add another feather to his cap. He sets a franchise record for most TDs in a single season.

The highlight of the day, however, belongs to a rookie.

Sydney Brown records his first pick-six and does so in style.

It's been an impressive first season for Sydney Brown. He's quickly becoming a fan favorite. That won't change after Week 17. With the Cards driving in hopes of securing a first-half lead, Brown made his presence felt, recording a 99-yard pick-six interception.

Just watch this one. Appreciate the beauty.

Just in case you're wondering, this is the fifth pick-six interception in franchise history. Talk about cracking the stat sheet and the record book in style.

Update: Wouldn't you know it? As soon as we hit 'publish on this one, Jalen and Julio connected for six again. A wrinkle thrown into a Brotherly Shove look set this one up. Check out both highlights.

There's still one half of football to play, but so far, there are a lot of smiles in Philly.
