The most important stat for every team is number of wins and losses.

The Philadelphia Eagles are the number one seed in the NFC. The Kansas City Chiefs are currently the AFC's top-seeded team. Monday Night Football isn't lacking any star power, nor is it lacking in terms of intrigue and premier franchises. This might be one of the best football games we see nationally all season.

Philly and K.C. are as good as teams come. The Birds have given themselves a little breathing room in the National Football Conference. They are also the owners of the NFL's best record, but a loss in Week 11 will change that latter nugget.

Philly sits at 8-1. Had the season ended after Week 10, they would have owned home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Chiefs have won seven of their first nine games. A misstep by Philly gives both teams a pair of losses. It also gives the Chiefs ownership of a tiebreaker by virtue of their winning a head-to-head clash.

Do with that what you will seeing as how the Super Bowl is played on a neutral field. It is however interesting to make note of.
