The Eagles vs. Cowboys Sunday Night Football clash is full of intriguing matchups.

The Philadelphia Eagles travel to Arlington for their Week 14 game versus the Dallas Cowboys. Their most recent meeting was Week 9. We know these teams are very familiar with one another. We know this is going to be a hard-fought, gut-wrenching, and mega-important game.

Sunday Night Football has some of the best player-to-player, group-to-group, and team-to-team matchups that the NFL has to offer. Here are some of the more notable subplots we'll be watching during the game.

Jalen Hurts vs. Daron Bland

Cowboys cornerback Daron Bland is really good at forcing turnovers and turning interceptions into points. There’s no rational person in the world that would argue against that. Here's the good news. There are other important necessities to playing the quarterback position, and those are the areas where he can be had.

Per Pro Football Reference, Bland is allowing 12.6 yards per completion. As we just saw last week against the Seahawks, he can be had… If you don’t put him in a position to capitalize on bad throws, he's very susceptible to allowing big plays by the opposing offense.

We know the Eagles’ receivers can make plays on the ball, so we focus on the mini-chess match, Jalen Hurts and Bland. Taking care of the ball will be key for Philly's QB1. He has been reckless with the ball far too often. Keep it clean J and you can win this matchup. Bland will provide opportunities for big plays.
