A familiar foe visits the Eagles on Christmas.

Believe it or not, despite being promised two regular-season games annually that feature the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants, it's been more than 11 months since these age-old rivals have met to play a football game. Big Blue was trounced during Philly's march to Super Bowl LVII on January 21st. Let's just say their absence hasn't made the heart grow any fonder.

The Eagles haven't won since three days after Thanksgiving. They desperately need a win. There aren't many feelings that top earning one versus the hated G-Men. Doing so on Christmas will be doubly rewarding, but we know victory won't be easy.

From where we're sitting this sets up nicely. A three-game winning streak will give the Birds the NFC East's crown. Saquon Barkley is someone they want to stop in this one. He's New York's best player on offense, but he's going to bring some friends with him to Lincoln Financial Field.

One of them is a new guy who's been turning some heads since taking over for an injured Daniel Jones.

Since taking over for Daniel Jones, Tommy DeVito is one win shy of crafting a .500 record as a starter. He's 3-4 since taking over,

He has thrown eight touchdown passes versus three interceptions. He also has a rushing TD on his 2023 resume.

Here's one thing we can promise you. He had better not earn that fourth win on Sunday.

That was easy enough. Let's talk about some of his offensive teammates.
