Just when you were about to ask yourselves questions about why the NFL doesn't flex games more often, league offices finally do us a solid. Finally! We have been spared yet another snoozer in primetime. Monday Night Football just got a proverbial shot in the arm, and guess what? Our Philadelphia Eagles have been granted yet another nationally-televised game.
This one comes in Week 15. Yes, this will give them six primetime games in 2023. Are you not entertained?
The NFL cashes in again thanks to their decision to air the Eagles vs. Seahawks Week 15 game on Monday Night Football.
The Birds are firmly entrenched in the toughest stretch of games they'll face all season. The last leg of the gauntlet requires that they travel to the Pacific Northwest to tackle a team they have often had difficulty with.
The Seattle Seahawks are the opponent. This one's now being played on Monday Night Football. Yep! That sounds like some headline-worthy football to us. The Kansas City Chiefs vs. New England Patriots Week 15 affair has been bumped to make room.
Don't take our word for it. Take a look for yourselves.

This game between Philly and Seattle doubles as the 20th meeting between these two teams. Seattle leads the all-time series by a 12-7 margin thanks, in large part, to a seven-game losing streak by our Birds that dates back to December 1st of 2011. The Eagles haven't won a game versus the Hawks since November 2nd, 2008.
If both of these teams continue on their current paths, this might be the best chance that Philly has had to vanquish this team in a while. We know the NFL is looking to cash in with one of its top cash cows.
Thank CBS Sports' Jeff Kerr for doing the legwork. As you can see, games involving the Birds gets people to their televisions.

A game with playoff implications for both teams... Two popular franchises... A primetime setting... This one has all of the trimmings to be a classic.
