Thursday night's Philadelphia Eagles game had its moments. Hey, we saw another fantastic ending... Thank Heaven for Tanner McKee, but we almost fell asleep a few times. Who else is pumped that there are only three preseason games now? Anyway, as always, there is much to dissect.

Two days after a joint practice with the New England Patriots, Philly found themselves walking out of Gillette Stadium on the right side of a 14-13 final score. They committed more penalties, four to New England's one. but they won the time of possession battle by chewing 34:36 off the clock.

We learned that Tanner McKee is better than Kenny Pickett and Ainias Smith may not be a lost cause. We're on to another week of work, but before we turn the page, let's discuss everyone's favorite topic, snap counts!

Trevor Keegan goes the distance in the Eagles' Week 2 win over the Patriots.

What's that? Snap counts aren't your favorite topic of discussion. Hmmm... Well, maybe it's just us. We keep telling you that we're football nerds.

Here's something of note. Rookie fifth-round draftee Trevor Keegan is someone to watch. Pro Football Focus gave him passing grades after Week 1 of the preseason. His coaches decided that they wanted to see a little more, so much so that he played every snap versus the Patriots in Week 2.

Check out the numbers and the snap counts for every Eagles that saw the field on Thursday.

Just in case you're curious about what everyone else did we have you covered. Here are the snap counts for the defense and the special teams stars following Philly's 14-13 win in Foxborough.

All that is cool ands everything, but we can't stop talking about this Trevor Keegan dude. Shortly after this game ended, we went back and watched some highlights from the 2023 Michigan Wolverines season. Almost every second-half clip looks the same.

Over and over we watched a rushing attack follow his lead as they overpowered everyone. He's going to be a force whenever called upon, but he'll have to wait his turn as the starters along the O-line seem to have already been decided.
