After 5 weeks of NFL action, Philadelphia Eagles fans and the fans of the other 31 pro football franchises have a substantial sample size to determine which defenses are racking up points in Fantasy football. While there are some Fantasy managers who may not pay much attention to their defense, those in the know understand the value a high-upside unit can bring, especially in close matchups.

Two of the more formidable defenses, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers, are enjoying their bye weeks. With that being said, it's time to dive into a look at four that should give you a nice shot at winning in Week 6.

Here are the top four defensive units in Fantasy football ahead of Week 6 if you're looking to bolster your squad.

Check out our deep dive into this week's top defensive units that are available to Fantasy owners in Week 6. Eagles fans are certain to recognize one of them.

1. San Fransisco 49ers.

The San Francisco 49ers, currently tied for a league-leading eight interceptions, have an owner-friendly matchup in Week 6. They are facing a Cleveland Browns offense that has lost Nick Chubb for the season, and their quarterback, Deshaun Watson, has been out and is questionable for Sunday due to a shoulder injury.

In their most recent game versus the Dallas Cowboys, the Niners' defense grabbed three picks and recovered a fumble. San Fran has proven that they are a must-start every week, regardless of the matchup.

2. Buffalo Bills

Many expect the Bills defense to have a bounce-back game this week. After conceding 25 points in their most recent contest versus the Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo will face a struggling New York Giants team with an offensive line that has allowed a league-leading 30 sacks through five games.

Guess what? The Bills lead the NFL in sack rate this year, so you can expect their defense to create pressure with Daniel Jones out of the lineup and force some turnovers, considering they are tied for a league-best eight interceptions to go along with five forced fumbles.

The Bills' defense is banged up but in a great matchup against the G-Men. The latter is only averaging 12.4 points per game. Buffalo is an option if you are looking for a few this week.

3. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are playing a bad offense in Week 6. They face the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. While the Jets offense does have some pieces, one being running back Breece Hall, Philly's defense has been strong against the run and only allows 61.2 rushing yards per game.

They are well-equipped to neutralize Hall and force Zack Wilson to have to make plays with his arm. It's also worth noting that the Jets offense has already turned the ball over eight times this season, so expect Philly's defense to put the pressure on Wilson in hopes that this will force him to make bad desicions.

4. Baltimore Ravens

In Week 6, the Baltimore Ravens are set up nicely in a favorable matchup versus the Tennessee Titans. While the Two-Tone Blue ranks 15th in points allowed to Fantasy defenses, the Ravens defense is coming off a solid performance versus the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Black and Gold was sacked three times. Baltimore also recovered a fumble. The Ravens' strong start to the season makes a compelling case for Fantasy owners to seriously consider starting them in Week 6.
