Eagles rookies and veterans report to training camp soon, and there are still options on the free-agent market if they're interested.

We haven't discussed free agents recently, have we? Following some roster turnover, the addition of seven prospects during the 2023 NFL Draft, and the Philadelphia Eagles' acquisition of nine undrafted rookie free agents, thoughts shifted to OTAs, another canceled mandatory minicamp, and the 90 men on Philly's training camp roster. We all but forgot about the guys sitting in football limbo, the available free agents that are still without jobs.

The Birds have been known to add players late in the offseason like James Bradberry and C.J. Gardner-Johnson. They are seemingly always connected to disgruntled players that seek new opportunities and escape from their current rosters. Look no further than Russell Wilson and D'Andre Hopkins if you need evidence of that theory.

If Philly hopes to add talent without needing to give up resources by way of executing a trade, there are still a few big fish swimming in free agency's pool. Here are a couple of handfuls that come to mind and a glance at a couple of former Birds who will live in Eagles lore forever.
