If it seems like the pace has quickened that might be because it has ever so slightly. Maybe not, but after spending a Friday evening in Baltimore with the Ravens less than a week ago, we are within a few hours of the Philadelphia Eagles second preseason contest of a three-game slate.

This one is another road date versus the New England Patriots.

Philly and the Pats shared one joint practice session on Tuesday. Jalen Hurts again looked sharp while, aside from a 1-on-1 drill here or there, the Birds mostly handled Thursday night's opponent during the workout.

The game is scheduled for 7 pm EST. We expect everyone to find their way in front of a television for this one, but the game can be heard on radio as well.

Here's how you can listen to the Eagles vs. Patriots game in Week 2 of the NFL preseason on Thursday.

After yet another phenomenal job during the preseason opener, Merrill Reese and Mike Quick again partner to announce the coming affair as they have done every Eagles game since 1998. Howard Eskin will again handle sideline duty.

Listen to them by tuning into 94 WIP-FM's live stream. Visit the website, and hit the 'listen' button to do so. SiriusXM subscribers are lucky enough to have another option. Tune in to the good guys on channel 88. A Patriots-friendly call can be heard on channel 225.

This one won't count against the win-loss total, nor will it change the following. But, if you're curious, these two proud franchises have met on the field 16 times. That includes a 1-1 Super Bowl split. Philly leads the all-time tally by a 9-7 margin.

The Eagles have also won three of the past four meetings. That includes last year's season opener and that game in February of 2018. That latter game featured a Philly Special and a Brandon Graham strip-sack.
