Wait! Merrill Reese isn't in the Pro Football Hall of Fame already? That's what we were asking ourselves when news broke that he's receive Canton's Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award. The G.O.A.T. looked and sounded great as always while accepting his honor on the eve of the 2024 HOF class's enshrinement. But, again. we just assumed Merrill had his own bust carved already.

Ever since we were young lads, all Dad and Grandad talked about was Merrill Reese and listening to the Eagles radio call. They had black and white TVs back then, and you had to have some pocket change to own one. So, when we were old enough to tune in to BIrds games ourselves (and the broadcast) could be seen in color), we were all about those NFL Films.

If you're a Birds fan and love Eagles highlights or if you listen to sports radio, no one has to tell you who Merrill Reese is. He's an Eagles Hall of Fame member, and you most certainly remember hearing those calls he made as Philly's longtime play-by-play announcer.

Well, he's ready for another season. The Birds play in Week 1 of the regular season, so if you have a chance, check him out!

Here's how you can listen to the Eagles vs. Ravens game in Week 1 of the NFL preseason on Friday.

If you can't watch Week 1's preseason game on TV, or if you just enjoy listening to the radio call, the voices should sound familiar. Philly's first preseason game features the best team in all of football. Merrill Reese and Mike Quick partner to announce this one. That should be no surprise as they have done since 1998.

Howard Eskin handles sideline duty. Listen to them by tuning into 94 WIP-FM's live stream. Visit the website, and hit the 'listen' button to do so. Those of you who are SiriusXM subscribers are lucky enough to have another option.

Tune the dial to channel 382 for an Eagles-friendly call. Who knows why you'd want to hear a Ravens version, but if you do, look up SiriusXM channel 226 for that one.
