And, just like that, we enter Week 2! Ten days separate the Philadelphia Eagles' first game versus the Green Bay Packers from their second. This one is a tussle with the NFC South's Atlanta Falcons.

These two have met 37 times on the field to decide a football game. Game time this time around will come just two days short of the 58th anniversary of their first meeting (September 18, 1966).

Four times, they've met during the playoffs. Philly has won the last three postseason meetings and lead all-time series by a 21-15-1 margin.

They'll be favored in the next despite the Falcons being led on offense by a long-time nemesis, former Washington and Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins.

Believe it or not, Kirk owns a winning record as a starter vs the good guys (6-5). Let's see if we can even that at the .500 mark on Monday Night Football.

Eagles vs. Falcons Game Time

The Eagles vs Falcons game is scheduled for an 8:15 pm EST start in Philadelphia. Though the Birds were the home team last week, this is a TRUE home-opener.

Expect the home crowd at Lincoln Financial Field to be rowdy.

Eagles vs. Falcons game details

The Eagles and Falcons enter this one needing to put last week firmly in the rear-view mirror. Week 1 couldn't have been any more different for two teams who experienced it.

Philly took a 10-hour flight to participate in the first NFL game played in Brazil. Atlanta played their game... well... in Atlanta. Yes, that was Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Don't be fooled because it sounded like a Steelers home game.

The Eagles won their 'home opener', one played on a soccer field. The Falcons lost their home opener, and now the team formerly known as 'The Dirty Birds' must now board a plane.

The former would love to keep the momentum going. The latter hopes to avoid a 0-2 start. Only one side will get their wish granted in this one.
