How to Watch Eagles vs. Vikings in NFL Preseason Week 2 with and without cable
Two preseason games are in the books. One game remains on the schedule. The pace has quickened. Tempo will only increase as we continue the march. The Philadelphia Eagles, following two exhibition games on the road, return home for one more versus the Minnesota Vikings.
Lincoln Financial Field will be packed. Of that, we're almost certain. We're familiar with the Vikes. Philly hosted them in their regular-season opener in 2022 and 2023.
This one won't count against the win-loss total, but these two have met on the field 31 times. That includes four postseason clashes. The Birds lead the all-time series by a 16-15 tally.
Eagles vs. Vikings Game Time
The Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings renew acquaintances at 1 pm EST on Saturday, August 24th. Expect to see a lot of the reserves in this one. This one will determine who will win those final roster spots.
Eagles vs. Vikings Location:
As mentioned earlier, this one is a home game. Make your way to Pattison Avenue as the Birds wrap up the third of three preseason games in the friendly confines of Lincoln Financial Field.
How to watch Eagles-Vikings on TV
Watch this one locally on NBC10 if you live in the City of Brotherly Love. There are also options if you live outside of Philly's city limits and in other parts of the country.
How to stream Eagles vs. Vikings
If streaming is a better option, there are ways to do that as well. NFL Plus is an option if you have a premium subscription. We recommend Fubo TV for viewing. They offer free trials for new subscribers if you are interested.
Eagles vs. Vikings Odds:
We aren't sure why you'd bet on a preseason game, but as of 5 pm EST on Tuesday, August 20, DraftKings favors the visiting Vikings by one point. The moneyline, at that time was set at -110 for both sides. The OVER/UNDER was 33.5 points at that time.
Game odds change periodically and are subject to change.
Eagles vs. Vikings game details
No one should be shocked by the vanilla play calling and the absence of highlight-reel plays. We keep expecting these snoozers, and for the most part, we have been treated to two of them. We did see a pair of fantastic finishes.
We don't expect the cardiac ball to continue during the finale. This one should feature many of the guys auditioning for an opportunity on another roster and guys toeing the line separating the players who are tough cuts and the final six or seven guys who will make the team.
