Important decisions the Philadelphia Eagles must make sooner rather than later

Time's a ticking, and some decisions must be made now.

We pick on Howie Roseman a lot. Sure, there were the emotional moments when we called for his job. You have to forgive us. Taking Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson didn't sit right with us at the time. Hell... It still doesn't, but no one plans a makeup date quite like the Philadelphia Eagles vice president/general manager. Had he not missed with Reagor's selection, the Birds probably don't have DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown right now.

We can all agree on that, can't we?

We could go on and nitpick. We could discuss salary cap snafus and the negligence he has shown in building the safety and linebacker positions into what we would call acceptable sections of the depth chart, but let's give him credit. Don't let Madden NFL's franchise mode fool you. NONE OF US could do Howie's job better than Howie.

Another offseason is upon us, and Philly's favorite GM has some tough decisions to make. Heck, better he do it than us! There are dozens of topics we could ramble about. Rather than do that, we'll give you five. Here are a handful of issues that need to be addressed sooner rather than later.

It appears the Eagles are, in essence, choosing between Haason Reddick and Josh Sweat.

There aren't many bigger pivots than what should be done about Haason Reddick's deal. We've all discussed that ad nauseam, and we're no closer to finding common ground in our disagreements and debates on such.

Here are the cold hard facts though. We're quickly closing in on the deadlines for extending Landon Dickerson, Dallas Goedert, Milton Williams, Jake Elliott, and Avonte Maddox. Backing the Brink's truck up to Reddick's front door might complicate that, but here's another name to consider, the one belonging to Josh Sweat.

Reddick is a better player than Sweat, but Josh is also younger. Philly may (and probably should) choose youth over experience. Put an asterisk next to that theory. Place the following thoughts on your minds as well.
