Another game nears. This one comes in Week 5 as the Philadelphia Eagles visit Inglewood to tackle the Los Angeles Rams. Winning won't be an easy task, but this is a game that the Birds should come out on top in. Our friends over at DraftKings favor them by four points as of 4 p.m. EST on Sunday.
The Birds have taken six of the last seven versus the Rams, but they lost the most recent meeting. Both teams are slightly banged up as the time draws closer.
Britain Covey and Cam Jurgens injury status for Week 5 against the Rams
After being listed as questionable on Friday's injury report due to a concussion, Britain Covey was removed on Saturday and given no designation. Fletcher Cox (back), Marlon Tuipulotu (triceps), and Sydney Brown (hamstring) have all been ruled out of Sunday's game.
Quez Watkins (hamstring) and Justin Evans (neck) were both full participants at Friday's practice. Philly has also announced that they have placed second-year center/guard Cam Jurgens on their injured reserve. He will miss at least the next four games.
Britain Covey/Cam Jurgens injury histories
Though it may not seem like it (Britain Covey has taken some violent shots so far in his career), he has managed to stay relatively healthy. He played in every Eagles game as a rookie, and he has appeared in all four of Philly's contests this season. This is the first full game that Jurgens has missed.
When are Britain Covey and Cam Jurgens coming back?
All signs indicate that Britain Covey will play on Sunday. Jurgens will obviously sit out.
