The eve of Thanksgiving... One of those days that we all mark on our calendars... It's a day that looks different to different people. In some ways, Thanksgiving Eve is just as important if not more so than Thanksgiving Day. People are traveling. Friends and family are cooking in preparation for the big day. The Philadelphia Eagles went to work while six other NFL franchises are preparing to play football.

After a 15-day layoff, our Birds vanquished the Kansas City Chiefs. This time around, they tackle the Buffalo Bills to close a short week. Fingers are crossed that they'll be healthy.

Milton Williams injury status for Week 12 game against Bills

Let's talk about Milton Williams. He was enjoying a great game on Monday before an apparent head injury sent him to the locker room after a brief visit to the medical tent.

He was one of nine Eagles mentioned on Philly's first Week 12 injury report. Concussions are always handled differently, and if we're being honest, they should be.

Milton Williams injury history

Milton Williams, thus far in his Eagles career, hasn't had a ton of injuries to report. There was the shoulder issue he had in October, but other than minor nicks and bruises here and there, he hasn't sustained anything that has forced him to miss any time until now.

Who would Milton Williams replace in the Eagles lineup?

The Eagles are stocked at the interior of their defensive line. Though no one wants to see injuries occur at any position, they're best equipped to mask someone's absence at defensive tackle.

The Birds will utilize a mixture of Fletcher Cox, Jordan Davis, and Jalen Carter along the interior of the defensive line. Marlon Tuipulotu and Moro Ojomo are also in the fold, although the latter will probably be a healthy scratch on Sunday versus Buffalo.

When is Milton Williams coming back?

It seems unlikely that Williams will clear concussion protocol and be ready for action less than six days after appearing in Philly's most recent game. We're going to guess he'll sit out of the game in Week 12 and be back for the Eagles game versus the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13.
