Jalen Hurts discusses Eagles offseason and temperature as Phase One continues
It's been a while. As we settle into April's second half and approach our trip to Detroit for the NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles are enjoying Phase One of the offseason and shifting their focus to the next stage of roster building.
The guys are working. New faces, those belonging to Saquon Barkley and Bryce Huff among others, are getting acclimated to their new surroundings. On Wednesday, one day after Nick Sirianni, Howie Roseman, and DeVonta Smith spoke with the media, a handful of other players caught up with select media members.
Here's a name we have discussed less often than normal, Jalen Hurts. So much has happened that QB1 has gone unmentioned at times (and for days on end). Don't expect that to continue as training camp and the preseason near.

The collapse... Brian Johnson... Kellen Moore and Doug Nussmeier... Though it may seem like we've reached a slow portion of the Philadelphia Eagles' current news cycle, there's never a shortage of discussion points, especially when QB1 steps behind a microphone.
How does Jalen feel about Johnson's tenure as offensive coordinator now? What's the excitement level for that working relationship with Saquon Barkley? Another OC? Can this guy get some stability?

Jalen has always spoken like a young man who is wise beyond his years. The question now is a simple one. Is he capable of morphing back into the guy who was an MVP candidate and playing like one?
Our money is on the bounceback.
