Much can change in a year, right? When we turned the calendar from January to February in 2023, the Philadelphia Eagles were preparing for their second Super Bowl appearance in six seasons. Nick Sirianni was in year two. He was the toast of the NFL. Some, however, had their doubts about how much he contributed. Fast forward to the present. He enters year four with many believing he'll sit on a much warmer seat.

That's the situation. How did we get here though?

The answers to that question are obvious. There were discussions about whether Nick had lost the locker room. That question needed an immediate answer. After all, if the players have lost faith in a head coach's ability to lead them, there isn't much hope for a turnaround.

Then, we found hope. Team leaders stepped up in his defense. A.J. Brown quelled rumors about dysfunction. Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelce have defended Nick since then, and Mr. Kelce recently doubled down on the high praise.

Well, sadly the Eagles who were voted onto the Pro Bowl roster will be participating in the festivities. As you know, they would have been absent had Philly qualified for another Super Bowl appearance. Now, we have to gear up for flag football and the skills competitions. Jason Kelce offered something a tad more interesting though.

During his and Travis Kelce's recent episode of their very popular New Heights podcast, he offered another glowing endorsement of Philly's head coach.

It appears that rumors of Nick's demise may have been slightly exaggerated. The Eagles' organization is standing by him. His team is backing him. Well... The leaders appear to be throwing their two cents in at every opportunity to do so anyway.

Some may believe otherwise. Nick Sirianni looks like the right man for the job in Eagles Land, Year four of his era begins soon. Let's hope it ends in satisfactory fashion.
