Justin Evans forced out of Eagles battle versus Buccaneers because of injury

There isn't a ton of bad news to report in the Eagles Week 3 clash versus the Buccaneers other than Justin Evans leaving the game with an injury.

It's perhaps the only aspect of football, whether that be football of the professional variety or any other level, that we don't enjoy. In a demolition derby like the NFL, injuries will most certainly occur. The Philadelphia Eagles lost important cogs from both their offensive and defensive machine in weeks one and two. Week three's game on Monday Night Football has proven to be costly as well.

Safety Justin Evans left the game with a first-quarter injury, one to the neck injury. He entered the locker room as a result and by the looks of things, he won't return.

Rookie Sydney Brown and Terrell Edmunds split snaps to compensate for his absence, and even though Philly's official account on X states Evans is questionable to return, for all intents and purposes, it appears that Number 30's night is over

Update: It appears the Eagles will have to finish Week 3's game versus the Bucs without Sydney Brown as well.

In relief of Justin Evans, Eagles rookie Sydney Brown made a phenomenal attempt to break up what could have been a sure TD pass from Baker Mayfield to Mike Evans. Unfortunately, Philly will have to finish this one without their exciting rookie.

He has a thigh injury. He is questionable to return.

Landon Dickerson also missed the close of this one. He suffered a knee injury during the second half.

These stories are developing. We'll continue to keep you posted should anything occur.
