Philadelphia Eagles fans who have always wanted to step foot on Lincoln Financial Field's playing surface will have their opportunity this spring. No, we aren't discussing football tryouts or anything like that. We're talking a totally different sport, one most didn't see coming.

Upper Deck Golf, a company that brings interactive golf challenges to sporting venues around the country is setting up at The Linc from May 30th to June 2nd. Alert everyone. Call a friend. This could actually be tons of fun.

This is a great opportunity for experienced and amateur golfers to earn their chance at playing the sport they love within one of the best stadiums in the NFL. It comes during the offseason where there are just limited events going on at the Linc.

How can Eagles fans play golf at Lincoln Financial Field?

Philadelphia is the sixth stop on Upper Deck Golf's 18 stadium tour this spring and summer. They are going to be set up at the Linc for just three days, so fans will want to buy tickets early. Tee times have not been announced yet, but participants can get on the early access list now, so they do not miss their opportunity. Given the popularity of the sport and the rare opportunity to play within an NFL stadium, it is likely to sell out.

Each standard tee time includes a round of golf, with clubs and balls, access to a clubhouse bar, and specialty golfing challenges. VIP tee times provide a more premium experience. According to Upper Deck, this includes free entry into the driving, chipping, and putting challenges, as well as complimentary food and beverage items.

It will be very interesting to see Lincoln Financial Field set up for golf. The stadium has hosted numerous other sporting events such as soccer, lacrosse, monster trucks, as well has a variety of concerts. Perhaps an Eagles player or coach might make a surprise appearance which is sure to delight fans.
