The Eagles don't have to play until Monday night, so we get another Sunday of stress-free football
With Week 3 already underway, the Philadelphia Eagles are sitting pretty in the NFC East. They and both the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders have earned 2-0 records. The lowly New York Giants have dropped two of their first three games. The G-Men were featured in prime time versus a superior San Francisco 49ers team. Each of the other NFC East teams still have games to play.
We were hoping that the Cowboys would have had to play an Aaron Rodgers-led New York Jets team and that Dallas would have come out of that game with a loss. Well, we know how that turned out. The Cowboys had no problems with dealing with Zach Wilson and Gang Green. Week 3 may produce more fireworks.
The Giants traveled to San Francisco (or wherever the stadium is) this past Thursday and lost to the 49ers. If you missed that game, don’t feel bad because the Giants got absolutely THUMPED.
They were playing without running back Saquon Barkley, but his absence didn’t really affect the game. The Giants weren’t able to get their defense off the field on 3rd downs. San Fran screen passed their way to an easy victory. Here's what we expect from the Cowboys and the Commanders.
