The Eagles remain atop the NFC East, but an early two-game lead would have been nice.
Well, the Philadelphia Eagles certainly squandered an amazing opportunity, didn't they? Beating the New York Jets would have given them a two-game lead in the NFC East, but we all know what happened. They were embarrassed, yet they still sit atop the division a third of the way through the season.
In Week 6, we saw the Washington Commanders pick off Desmond Ridder three times en route to a 24-16 victory against the Atlanta Falcons, We saw the New York Giants fart away a chance to beat the Buffalo Bills in their 14-9 loss on Sunday Night Football.
We also saw the Dallas Cowboys finally play a game that wasn't a blowout. They beat the Los Angeles Chargers by a 20-17 margin on Monday Night Football. Those weren't exactly the results we wanted, but they were the results we got.
Here are the divisional standings.
